Description

This effort is for contractor operated Depot level diagnostic, minor repair and major repair of PATRIOT, Crossed Field Amplifier, from Litton Electron Devices, 1035 Westminster Drive, Williamsport, PA 17701. The anticipated contract type will be Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP). This acquisition will provide for diagnosis and minor repair, and major repair of the assembly described as, Crossed Field Amplifier, national stock number 5960-01-110-2668, and part number 11439381-2. This acquisition will have FY02 base year quantities and FY03 through FY06 out year quantities for both minor repair and major repair. The quantities and their respective repair period are as follows: Minor Repair FY02 -- (5) five, FY03 -- (5) five, FY04 -- (4) four, FY05 -- (3) three, FY06 -- (3) three. Major Repair FY02 -- 15, FY03 -- 15, FY04 -- 11, FY05 -- (7) seven, FY06 -- (7) seven. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation, however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. This contract is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source.
