Description

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends modify Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00024-99-G-5220 with Northrop Grumman Norden Systems, Inc. (NGNS) of 65 Marcus Drive, Melville, NY 11747, to provide the issuance of multiple orders for Design Agent, Engineering and Technical Services in support of Engineering Changes/Product Improvement and Studies under the AN/SYS-2(V) Integrated Automatic Detection and Tracking (IADT) System Program. The ordering period of this FY99 BOA goes through 20 June 2002. NGNS is the original designer, developer, and sole producer of the AN/SYS-2(V) IADT System. As such, NGNS is the only known firm possessing the requisite technical expertise and background to perform the required design agent, engineering and technical services in a cost effective manner while minimizing the impact to the AN/SYS-2(V) deliveries to the US Navy's shipbuilding schedules. This new contract will be awarded pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). "Only one or a limited number of responsible sources and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements".
