Description

This contract will provide on-site remote sensing project support for the USDA Forest Service Remote Sensing Application Center (RSAC), a national technical unit. Contractors shall primarily support RSAC's Inventory, Analysis, and Accuracy Assessment Program, but may support other program areas within RSAC as needs arise. The scope of the work includes applying Image Analysis and Geographic Information System (GIS), Global Positioning System (GPS, photo interpretation, statistics, sampling and sample design, geospatial statistics, geospatial modeling, accuracy assessment, and other technologies for natural resources applications. The work also includes providing technical support to Forest Service resource specialist and managers in determining the accuracy of resources information derived from multiple scales of remotely sensed and GIS data to support environmental analysis and land management planning. This contract will be base year and four option years. The proposal contract is 100% total set-aside for small businesss.
