Description

Requirement: The U.S. Government is seeking to lease approximately 13,734 rentable square feet yielding 11,943 usable square feet of contiguous office and related space in Selma, Alabama. Space must be located in a prime commercial office district with attractive, prestigious surroundings with a prevalence of modern design, tasteful rehabilitation in modern use or new construction. Location: Offered properties must be located in Selma, Alabama within the following delineated areas: Central Business District (CBD) and the Historic District West: Valley Creek. South: Alabama River. North: Jeff Davis Avenue. East: From Jeff Davis avenue: Washington Street to Dallas Avenue to Franklin Street to Selma Avenue to Water Avenue. Outside the Central Business District (CBD) West: (Going South) Medical Center Parkway to Hwy 22, to Howell Drive to Marina Drive. South: Alabama River. East: (Going North East from the Alabama River) Water Avenue to Martin Luther King Street to Range Street. North: Highland Avenue (US Hwy 80-Hwy 14). Required: All services, supplies, utilities, and tenant alterations are to be provided as part of the rental consideration. Eighty (80) on-site parking spots are required. Space must be ready for occupancy on April 1, 2002. Lease Term: Term is 10 years, 5 years firm, with the Government having cancellation privileges, after 5 years.
