Description

Work under this acquisition consists of: (1) removing and replacing approximately 79 linear feet of left siphon barrel near the outlet structure to include new reinforced concrete collar, reinforced concrete barrel anchor, barrel saddles, expansion joint, and transitions; (2) removing and replacing approximately 32 linear feet of left siphon barrel that has buckled, and (3) new steel barrel sections will be coated, inside and outside. The estimated price range of the work is $100,000 to $250,000. The work is located approximately 7 miles northeast of Babb, Montana in Glacier County on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation. Solicitation packages are anticipated to be available May 25, 2001. Requests for solicitations should be received on or before June 12, 2001. The bid opening is tentatively scheduled for June 26, 2001, at the office of the Bureau of Reclamation, Great Plains Regional Office, U.S. Federal Building, 316 N 26th Street, Billings, Montana 59101. The contract is to be completed within approximately 120 calendar days after notice to proceed. There is no charge for the first copy of the solicitation, additional sets will be provided upon receipt of a nonrefundable check or money order of $9.00 each. After issuance, the solicitation may be viewed, without charge, at the Bureau of Reclamation, Great Plains Regional Office, Room 2031, Federal Building, 316 N 26th Street, Billings, Montana. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the Bureau of Reclamation. The small business size standard is 27.5 million, and the NAICS Code is 23499.
