Description
The Kootenai National Forest, Three Rivers and Libby Ranger Districts are soliciting bids for rehabilitation of two forest bridges, one on the South Fork of the Yaak River and the other on Pipe Creek. Work on the South Fork includes replacing the wingwalls, adding new bridge and approach railing, widening the approach roadways, and repaving the bridge and approaches. Work on Pipe Creek includes upgrading the existing bridge railing to appropriate standards, widening the approach roadways, and adding approach guardrails. Estimated start work date is July 16, 2000 with a mandatory completion date of November 1, 2001 for South Fork and September 1, 2001 for Pipe Creek. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Not set aside for small business.
