SPARE PARTS: NOUN:Diffuser Case NSN:2840-01-361-9237PT PART NUMBER:4079763 TOTAL QTY: 64EA DESTINATION:FB2039 APPLICABLE TO:F-100 Engine SIZE/DIMENSIONS:36in X 36in X 25 in. No telephone requests. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestor are acceptable. For additional information or request for solicitations should be addressed to David M. Deleranko/LPDBB/(405)-734-8773/FAX (405) 734-8781. Only one qualified source is listed on the Form 761 (Pratt & Whitney, 52661). Supplies required are available from only one responsible source and no other type of supplies will satisfy agency requirements. To be eligiable for contract award, offerors must be APPROVED SOURCE IAW Clause I-70. The Government is NOT required to delay contract award to review pending SAR_s. Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SAR_s ASAP. If the Government has not completed review of a SAR when the contract is awarded, the SAR will be retained and the source will be reviewed for possible source approval for future awards. It has been determined that it is not reasonable to develope or specify Qualification Requirements for this item. The predominate material of manufacture is Nickel Alloy. The production of the suplies lsited requires a substantial intital investment or an extended period of preparation for manufacture. Qualified source is United Technologies Corporation (FSCM 52661 & 77455). Delivery is due starting DEC 2001. Buyer_s name (point of contact listed above) should be included on all solicitation requests. In addition, please include a FSCM/cage code for mailing purposes. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
