- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitaiton number RFQ01-F039 is issued as a request for quoation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-23. The NAICS code for this soliciation is 334519 and the size standard is 500 employees. Line item no. 1) Quantity: 13 each of Smoke Check 1667 opacity meters manufactured by Red Mountain Engineering Inc or equivalent. Must meet latest SAE J1667 specifications. Must have a sensor probe that clips inside the smokestack or tail pipe and be completely portable (less than 20 lbs.). Must also have automatic atmospheric correction. Battery-operated, and all components, including strip chart recorder, must be housed in one water-resistant, air-tight carrying case, 14_ X 10_ X 8_. Must include an extension handle, training videotape, and a tool bag for holding sensor and accessories. Delivery to 10 various cities within the State of California, FOB Destination. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Award will be based on technically compliant, low price. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items with their offer.
