Description

Notice of intent to award a sole source contract with NAIT, 1198 Pacific Coast Highway, Suite D287, Seal Beach, CA 90740-6251 to obtain maintenance and repair services for the following programmable logic controllers: GE Fanuc, Modicon, Allen-Bradley, Toshiba, Siemans and Koyo. Currently in use are the following types of communications interface equipment: RS232, RS422, RS485, and wireless radio frequencies. This requirement is a follow-on for work currently being performed by the contractor. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, but responses received before May 11, 2001 will be considered by the Government. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
