Description

Desc: This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and an award will be made in accordance with FAR Par 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The U.S. Department of Energy, National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL), Pittsburgh, PA 15236 intends to issue a Request for Quotations to for the contractor/vendor to provide liquid nitrogen for four liquid nitrogen tanks located at both our sites, Pittsburgh, PA and Morgantown, WV. One 11,000-gallon rented tank located in Morgantown, WV and a 6,000-gallon, 9,000-gallon and 11,000-gallon government owned liquid nitrogen tanks located in Pittsburgh, PA. The period of performance is for one year 01-JUL-2001 to 30-JUN-2002 with an option year. The contractor/vendor shall provide all materials, support, work or services in accordance with statement of work titled "Supply Liquid Nitrogen/Liquid Nitrogen Storage Facility National Energy Technology Laboratory" and 4 drawings. The proposed purchase order is 100% set-aside for Small Business concerns with a Size Standard of 500 employees. Evaluation is based on best value including cost and ability to meet stated requirements. Issue date for RFQ is on May 02, 2001. Closing date for the RFQ is June 01, 2001. Anticipated award will be on or about June 25, 2001. Request for RFQ, with the detailed specifications, statement of work, and drawings shall be in writing, stating RFQ number S0100464, complete, company name, point of contact, address, area code and telephone number, and facsimile number.
