Description

This project requires Conrtractor to perform operation and maintenance of a groundwater treatment plant and trailer complex at the Silresim Superfund Site, Lowell, Massachusetts. This project consists of operating and maintaining the treatment plant for a Base Year (Nov 2001 -- Nov 2002) with four option years to be exercised at the discretion of the Government, for a total of five years. The following tasks are required: Groundwater Treatment Plant Operations; Utilities and Supplies to include the necessary electric service, natural gas service, telephone service, City of Lowell sewer and water fees, City of Lowell testing fees, leased trailer complex costs, office equipment and rent for the trailer complex; Sampling and Analysis; Waste Handling and Disposal; Record Keeping and Reporting; Plant Improvements to include necessary plant upgrades to adequately maintain the treatment system; and Project Management activities. The estimated cost is between $5,000,000.00 and $7,000,000.00 for all five years. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business concerns.
