DESC: 1025-00-895-9182, Part Number 8767203, The item to procure is a firing mechanism assembly (M35) consists of a machined and welded (2) piece steel case, cast lever, yoke, hammer, cup, and various pins and springs. The overall size is approximate 2.5 inches in diameter by 2.8 inches long. Inspection gages are required. Requirements are 300 each, firing mechanism. FOB is destination. For use on the M198 Howitzer. Estimated issue date is 21 May 01. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c) therefore hardcopies will not be provided.
