Description

This modification completes the narrative previously submitted in Subject field of submission number 50L2R8 dated May 4, 2001 -- 15:55 Naval Inventory Control Point, Mechanicsburg intends to contract on a sole-source basis with Electric Boat Corporation, Groton, Ct, for the procurement of items as system stock in support of various Submarine programs. Acquisition shall be made in conjunction with a Performance Based Logistics effort between the contractor and Government. Award is anticipated July 2001, with a one (1) year validity period. This notice is not a solicitation, but rather an announcement of potential subcontracting possibilities which may become available via the prime contractor under this initiative. See notes 9,22,& 26.
