Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) , intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with X-COM, Inc., 8809 Sudley Rd., Suite 202, Manassas, VA 20110, an increase in ceiling of contract number N00178-00-D-3060. This increase will be fixed pricing for the acquisition of a maximum quantity of CLIN 0011 -- 6 each, Model XPS-32, Multi Platform Switch; CLIN 0012 -- 12 each, Model XPS -1397E, Two card Module (line card and connector card); CLIN 0013 -- 12 each, Model XPS-1397D, Two card Module (line card and connector card); CLIN 0014 -- 12 each, Model XPS-C451, Two card Module (line card and connector card); CLIN 0015 -- 12 each, Model XPS-1397A, Line card of a two card module (requiring a connector card); CLIN 0016 -- 12 each, Model XPS-1397B, Line card of a two card module (requiring a connector card); CLIN 0017 -- 24 each, Model MPP-1397A/B-Conn, Connector card of a two card module (line card and connector card); CLIN 0018 -- 12 each, Model XPS-XCF, Fiber optic interface half-card for use on private fiber networks. CLIN 0019 -- 12 each, Model, XPS-ATM, Fiber optic interface half-card for use with ATM circuits; CLIN 0020 -- 18 each, Model XPS-C19, 19 inch cabinet for XPS-32, switch chassis; CLIN 0021 -- 6 each, Model XPS-PCK, Panel PC and Keyboard for XPS-32, 19 inch cabinet; CLIN 0022 -- 6 each, Model XLC-MPS-SC-Win98/NT, Software diagnostic control combo package for MPS-32 with front panel RS-232 connector card; CLIN 0023 -- 6 each, Model XRC-SA-MPS-32-Win98/NT, Remote control package in stand-alone configuration to interface to the MPS-32; CLIN 0024 -- 6 each, Model XPS-ATM-SC-NT, Switch system control software package; CLIN 0025 -- 5000 hours of technical support to include travel. The increased ceiling will provide for switches, card modules, and software packages to fulfill the branch's mission to enhance the Land Based Test Network (LBTN). This equipment will be used to validate the concept of Remote Combat Systems (RCS). The Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC) program is attempting to enhance the Land Based Test Network (LBTN) in order to increase the total number of CEC Units (CUs) in a CEC shore based test bed. The CEC program is currently investigating connectivity to LBTN sites without Combat Systems or Sensors to enhance the fidelity of these sites. These components will be used with X-Com components previously procured and together will enhance the function of the LBTN towers at Eastville and Reedville, Virginia.
