Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6; as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Government intends to award a firm fixed-price contract with options for furnishing and delivering the following: 1) Herbicide, active ingredient fluridone: 1-methyl-3-phenyl-5-[3-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]-4(1H)-pyridinone at 5%weight or 2 pounds active ingredient per 40-pound container, Trade Name Sonar SRP, 3,760 pounds; 2) 2-4DMA labeled for Aquatic use, 150 gallons; 3)Herbicide, not less than 5.4 lbs of active ingredient isopropylamine salt of N-(phosphonomethyl) glycine per U.S. Gallon which is equivalent to 4 lbs per U.S. Gallon of the acid, glyphosate, Trade Name Rodeo, 270 gallons; 4) Herbicide, active ingredient dipotassium salt of endothall 40.3% (7-oxabicylo [2.2.1] heptane-2,3-dicarboxylic acid equivalent 28.6%). Product will contain 4.23 pounds dipotassium endothall (equivalent to 3.0 pounds endothall acid), Trade Name Aquathol K, 525 gallons; 5) Induce (a non-ionic low foam wetter/spreader adjuvant) or equivalent , 125 gallons. Delivery destination is Chattahoochee, Florida. Commercial item provisions 52.212-1/3/4 and 5 apply. This procurement is unrestricted. The SIC is 2879, the size standard for which is a concern, including its affiliates, does not exceed 500 employees. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered.
