Description

The Bureau of the Census intends to award a contract, on a sole source basis, using simplified acquisition procedures, to Unisys Corporation, 8008 Westpark Drive, McLean VA to procure (1) Virtual Tape Handler Installation -- IXP20-VTH, and (4 months) Monthly surety support on the virtual tape handler -- gold premium level. The determiniation by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally e considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct future competitive procurements. No solicitation document exists and request for such document will be considered nonresponsive.
