Description

The USDA, ARS, "Small Fruit Research" and the "Formosan Subterranean Termite Research" Program located at Poplarville, Mississippi are involved in a variety of research projects. Because of limited available space at the research site, the government is seeking ways to support these programs by providing additional non-permanent buildings such as modular units. A total of three (3) modular units will be required. The interior set-up shall be different for all three units. The units will required on-time delivery, set-up, and site installation per specification. The units shall be in compliance with all local (Pearl River County), State of Mississippi and Federal codes for modular units, i.e., HUD Code 24 CFR Part 3280.1-904 and / or Southern Building Codes, Type VI Construction, Business Occupancy, Floor Load # 50, Wind Speeds up to 100 mph, Roof Load # 20. The estimate cost of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. Delivery of the Trailers will be within 60 days from notice of contract award. An IFB will be issued on or about May 22, 2001.
