Description

This Sources Sought(SS)Notice is for information and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The VA does not intend to award a contract on the basis of responses, nor otherwise pay for the preparation of any information submitted. The purpose of this SS is to identify potential sources that may be interested in and capable of providing a wide range of selected medical/surgical products and deliver directly to patients residences, as ordered by the VA Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacies (CMOPs). The medical/surgical products pricing are established on existing Government contracts. Contractors will be required to establish a commercial agreement with existing Government contractors to acquire medical/surgical products to inventory and sell to CMOPs. Potential contractors are to sell medical/surgical products at established Government prices plus an administration fee for maintaining inventory and mailing products to patients as ordered by CMOPs. For electronic ordering, billing and submissions of specified reports, offerors must be EDI capable and be able to interface with existing computer systems,at various CMOP locations within the United States.
