Description

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requires a contractor to perform Real Estate Sales Closing Attorney Services for the sale of its single family properties (1 to 4 units) located in the southern counties of Illinois. The counties are as follows: Alexander, Bond, Clay, Clark, Clinton, Crawford, Cumberland, Edwards, Effingham, Fayette, Franklin, Gallatin, Hamilton, Hardin, Jackson, Jasper, Jefferson, Johnson, Lawrence, Madison, Marion, Massac, Monroe, Perry, Pope, Pulaski, Randolph, Richland, Saline, St. Clair, Union, Wabash, Washington, Wayne, White, and Williamson. Sales must be closed within a stipulated time-frame and prompt and accurate payment of all closing charges made. Complete closing packages must be submitted to HUD or designated contractor within three busingess days of closing. The contract will be for a one year base period, with four (4) one year option periods. Proposals will be rated on Technical Merit. HUD posts all required notices of its contracting opportunities on its web page at http://www.hud.gov/cts/ctsoprty.html. Potential offerors who download copies of the solicitation from HUD's Internet Site WILL NOT automatically receive any amendments to those solicitations. Therefore, you are advised to check the web site frequently to see if HUD has issued any amendments to solicitations you have obtained. All amendments will be posted on, and may be downloaded from HUD's Contracting Opportunities Internet Site. NOTE: THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOADING NO EARLIER THAN 15 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF THIS NOTICE.
