Description

Herbiciding of Vegetation in Railroad Track Areas at Naval Weapons Station Earle, Colts Neck, NJ. The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, equipment and transportation necessary for pest control services on railroad track areas and various base locations. Application will require the use of a Hi-Rail Truck. No driving of rubber tire vehicles will be permitted on track or track bed. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price contract. All work shall be completed in strict accordance with the specifications. The procurement is being issued as 100% set aside for small business concerns. The NAICS code for this procurement is 561730. The small business size standard is $5,000,000.00. Performance period will be for a period of 12 months commencing 15 days after notice of award until 31 December 2001. The Government has the option to extend the term of the contract for periods of 1 to 12 months each option for a total duration not to exceed 60 months. In accordance with FAR 5.102(a) (7), availability of the solicitation will be limited to the electronic medium. Specifications will NOT be directly provided in a paper hard copy format or CD-ROM.
