Description

1. The United States Air Force intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the lease of 1 each MI 8/17 Helicopter. Terms and conditions of Lease Statement of Requirements with Incidental Services, shall be utilized. Proposal evaluation factors shall include the following: Mission Capability and Price. Mission Capability shall be significantly more important when compared to price. Anticipated posting of the solicitation and lease to the Electronic Posting System is 8 May 2001. Resulting contract shall be firm-fixed price, Idefinite Delivery Idefinite Quantity, for a basic one year period. This solicitation and lease will be available only via the Internet at the following address: http://www.FedBizOpps.gov. Select EPS for Vendors, USAF _ Offices, Air Force Special Operations Command _ Locations, 16th Contracting Squadron _ Classification Code. No paper copies will be furnished. This acquisition shall be 100 percent set-aside for small business. See numbered Note 1.
