Description This is a combined synopsis/solicitation notice for commercial items, Prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This procurement is restricted to 100% HUBzone concerns. Request For Quote on the following items: 20 each -Exabyte Eliant 820SE External 8mm Tape Drive for Geospatial Tech. Rep. Systems, External,narrow & 50 Pinconnector,160mm 7-14GB native capacity, with SCSI cable,60MB transfer rate, Helical Scan certified NT and UNIX compatable. Part Number 27000-2 Contractor must quote on all items listed. FOB: Destination for delivery is National Imagery & Mapping Agency, 12310 Sunrise Drive, Reston, Va. 20191-3449. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and Clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-18,NAICS is 334111. Note that 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. In addition, the clauses at 52.212-5, Contract terms and conditions required implementing Statutes or Executive orders-Commercial Items applies to this solicitation. Specifically the following clauses cited are applicable: FAR 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity; FAR 52.222-35,Affirmative Action for special disabled and Vietnam Era Veterans; Far 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Handicapped Workers. All interested parties must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as prescribed in DFARS 252.204-7004 & 252.232-7009.
