Description

The Fort McCoy Contracting Office intends to issue solicitation DAKF61-00-R-0012 on or about 29 June 2001 for Directorate of Support Services at Fort McCoy, WI in accordance with the OMB Circular A-76 Performance of Commercial Activities. The requirement involves the following functions: 1) Operation Support, 2) Buildings and Grounds, 3) Utilities, 4) Installation Materiel Maintenance Activity, 5) Supply, 6) Transportation and 7) Environmental. This action is competed under FULL AND OPENED COMPETITION on an "unrestricted" basis. The applicable NAICS Code is 561210 with a size standard of $5 million. The apparent successful offeror will compete with the Government In-House Most Efficient Organization (MEO). If a decision is made to contract for the services a 30-day Phase-In is contemplated. Contract will be a Cost Plus Award Fee for a 12-month Base (following the Phase-In Period) with four (4) 12-month Option Periods. The solicitation will be posted on the Interagency Interactive Business Opportunities Page (IBOP) at: http://abop.monmouth.army.mil under DAKF61-00-R-0012. No paper copies of the solicitation or any amendments will be printed, mailed or provided. Announcement of amendments will not be made; vendors are cautioned to periodically check the web page for new amendments. No solicitation mailing list will be compiled and none can be provided. A site visit will be conducted at Fort McCoy. Vendors are encouraged to attend the site visit for networking and subcontracting opportunities. Date, time and directions will be contained in Section L of the solicitation.
