AMC and the Tidewater Division of the American Society of Naval Engineers invites you to attend the Casting Design & Acquisition Seminar May 16, 2001. This program is designed to reach DOD Weapon Systems Program Managers, their staffs, and contractors to save cost and time while improving quality of weapon systems. The symposium will feature case studies related primarily to Naval systems including Thrust Assemblies, Hand Grips, and Accumulators. Other examples will be cited as well. Net shape casting designs can reduce machining processes and production lead-times. The Symposium will cover: Why Castings are Desirable, Introduction to the Casting Processes, Introduction to Casting Design Concepts, Innovations in Casting Design.
