Description
A One-Day Pre-Solicitation Discussion and Presentation of a 3D CADD Model for the Upcoming Phase IV of the Upgrade Jet Engine Air Induction will be held on 22 MAY 2001 from 0830 to 1030 at the Arnold Lakeside Club adjacent to ARNOLD AFB, TN consisting of: Discussion of the upcoming RFP, Schedule for Contract Award, Design Requirements After Award, Construction Requirements. The information presented in this workshop will be site specific for projects at ARNOLD, AFB, TN, and based on past experiences at ARNOLD as well as future work. The general and local conditions, which can affect the work, or the preparation of successful proposals, will be specific to ARNOLD. The Government shall assume no responsibility for any understanding or representations concerning conditions made by any of its officers or agents during this presentation. Specific proposal submittal requirements will be included in a specific Request for Proposals, specification, or related documents to be published at a later date. In this regard, attendees should note that discussions and presentations will be tailored to the 3D CADD Model for Phase IV, but will generally only provide an overview of one possible solution to the requirements of Phase IV. All parties planning to attend should provide the following information to Ms. Peggy DuBray, Tennessee Area Office, 1433 Fifth Street, Arnold AFB, Tennessee 37389-9102, FAX (931) 454-3125, Telephone (931) 455-6771, by noon, 18 May 2001: a. Name of firm with complete mailing address. b. Name, title, and phone number of each representative. c. DLSC number. Request for attendance received after 18 May 2001 will not be accepted. All attendees must be U.S. citizens or must be admitted lawfully for permanent residence into the United States. If representatives who are neither U.S. citizens nor immigrant aliens wish to attend, they must be authorized to access AEDC. Authorization is granted only on a Government-to-Government basis. Application should be made through the appropriate embassy in Washington, D.C. All representatives' names must be entered to attend the workshop. Transportation by privately owned vehicles to the Arnold Lakeside Club of Arnold AFB, does not require a vehicle registration and/or temporary vehicle pass. No privately owned vehicles will be allowed on base without a temporary vehicle pass. A short order or buffet style lunch will be available at Arnold Lakeside Club and will be paid for individually. No cameras or recording devices will be allowed. Casual attire is suggested.
