Description

NAICS 334210, Telephone Apparatus Manufacturing. The CECOM Acquisition Center is soliciting, on a full and open competitive basis, an acquisition for manufacturer direct depot level support to Nortel Networks Telephone Switch Models SL-100 and SL-1 and other associated vendor peripheral equipment at DOD locations worldwide. Specific services include system upgrades; enhancements and expansions; short and long term field service support and emergency field service support 24x7, including holidays; parts repair and return; new parts replenishment; remote diagnostics; technical data and manuals; and extended service plan. Estimated issuance date of final solicitation is May 11, 2001, and responses are due 4:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time 1 June 2001. The contract will be a firm fixed price, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) commercial contract under FAR Part 12, consisting of a base year and four one-year options and awarded to a single prime contractor. The contract ceiling for the five-year period is $98M, to be awarded by 30 July 2001. Selection for award will be on a best value basis.
