Description

Work consists of the fabrication and installation of two 38'x110', one 18'x110', and one 11'x110' steel maintenance bulkheads. Also included is fabrication and installation of two steel operating bulkheads (38'x110') in the existing piers, including operation machinery for the bulkhead and associated electrical work. Additional work shall include miscellaneous mechanical and electrical revisions to the existing locks. Proposals will be evaluated on (1) Technical Approach; (2) Experience/Past Performance; (3) Proposed Schedule & Sequence of Work; (4) Project Management; (5) Social/Economic Goals (Subcontracting Plan); and (6) Price. This solicitation has an approximate issue date of 31 May 2001 and proposal due date of 2 July 2001.
