Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number N00164-01-Q-0191 is hereby issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-20 and DCN 20001213. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 336413 and the size standard is 1000 employees. This requirement is for the following: CLIN 0001 47 each Fittings, Hydraulic, PN: 1730NR0024 in accordance with drawings; CLIN 0002 47 each Fittings, Hydraulic, PN: 1730NR0020 in accordance with drawings; CLIN 0003 47 Kits Pulley Fan Kit, PN: 1730NR0116 in accordance with drawings; CLIN 0004 47 kits Fuel Filter Kit, PN: 1730NR0120 in accordance with drawings; CLIN 0005 47 each Top Assy Kit, PN: 1730NR0127 in accordance with drawings; CLIN 0006 47 each Pedal Kit, PN: 1730NR0126 in accordance with drawings; CLIN 0007 47 each Install Kit, Brake, PN: 1730NR0125 in accordance with drawings. Drawings can be downloaded in an executable file at www.crane.navy.mil/supply/announce.htm. Delivery is required F.O.B. Destination within 90 days after award. All items will be shipped to NAVAIR SEFAC, Solomons, MD 20688. Selection for award will be based on past performance and price. Quotes that are non-compliant with any material requirement of this solicitation may be rejected without further consideration for award. This will be a firm fixed price contract and will be awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The contractor shall extend to the Government the full coverage of commercial sale warranty provided such warranty is available at no additional cost to the Government. The offeror shall provide its Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code, Contractor Establishment Code and Tax Identification Number. To be eligible for award you must be properly registered in the Government's Central Contractor Registration (CCR).
