Description

The USAE, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) proposes to issue a sole source contract to Thermo Finnigan, San Jose, CA, for the purchase of one (1) "Isotopic Ratio Mass Spectrometer". The spectrometer and system components shall meet the following specifications: NOTE: DUE TO THE EXTENSIVE SCIENTIFIC NOTATION INCLUDED IN THE SPECIFICATIONS, PLEASE REQUEST BY EMAIL A COMPLETE COPY OF THE SPECIFICATIONS FROM THE POC: Tina.M.Landes@mvk02.usace.army.mil. A COMPLETE COPY OF THE SPECS WILL BE FORWARDED BY RETURN EMAIL. This item is the only known system that is commercially available that meets or exceeds the minimum selection criteria and the procurement of this system is critical to the Corps of Engineers' Environmental Laboratory (Environmental Processes Branch) research and development program. A firm fixed-price contract will be awarded utilizing the Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Any other responsible source able to provide the supplies referenced above is encouraged to respond to this announcement within 15 days after its publication. This is not a request for quotations and there is no solicitation available at this time. See Numbered Note 22.
