Description

The Colville National Forest requires Herbicide Noxious Weed Treatment on the Newport and Sullivan Lake Ranger Districts. The projects vary in location from Metaline Falls to Newport, Washington. There are approximately 26 project locations comprised of numerous sites. The estimated total is 574 acres. Price will be quoted by the acre. Backpack, ATV and truck spraying are allowed. Contractor shall provide all equipment, labor transportation and materials. Contractor provided herbicide is Tordon 22K or equal with L1700 or Agridex surfactant or equal and marking dye added. Call Paul Haas, Newport Ranger District for salient characteristics of an "or equal" herbicide product, telephone (509) 447-7300. The on-site supervisor shall have a Washington State Department of Agriculture Commercial Pesticide Applicator's License. This project will be advertised as a written quotation and will be solicited under the Simplified Acquisition Procurement (SAP) and Commercial Item rules. Estimated issue date of the solicitation is on or about June 1, 2001. Estimated start work date is on or about the middle of June. The proposed project listed here is a 100 percent small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 115112, Size Standard is $5 million.
