Description

This solicitation is issued as a Commercial Item Acquisition Under the guidelines of FAR Subpart 12. The V.A. North Texas Healthcare System, 4500 S Lancaster Road, Dallas, TX 75216 Has a requirement for (1) full-time Locum Tenens Diagnostic Radiology Technologist. This person will Perform radiographic, and fluoroscopic examinations, including IVP, BE, UGI, and Surgery. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and positioning of patients for a wide variety of difficult radiographic Examinations. Radiation Safety/Protection standards devices, and techniques. Knowledge of physics, radiation exposure techniques, and safety, including concepts of accumulated dosage, genetic changes, effects of radiation on patients, and co-workers. Some knowledge of PACS, and FUJI processing. Must be registered ARRT(National), and CMT(Texas), or eligible. Services shall be provided starting on or about 5/21/2001 through 8/31/2001 With an option period of 19 days. Hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a half-hour for lunch.
