Description
he STVHCS Audie L. Murphy Div., 7400 Merton Minter Blvd., San Antonio, TX 78229-4404, has a requirement to provide for ambulatory procedures and routine, non-routine, non-urgent, inpatient care for veterans patients referred by the Chief Medical Officer, McAllen VA Satellite Outpatient Clinic, located at 2101 South Colonel Rowe Blvd., McAllen, TX, and by the contract Community-Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOB) located at 394 Military Rd., Brownsville, TX. The NAICS is 621111, size standard 7.5m. Contractor will be required to perform any procedure identified in the Ambulatory Surgery Group (ASG) list published by HCFA. Ambulatory procedures/surgery refers to surgical or invasive diagnostic procedures performed by board-certified providers in a surgical suite or specialized area with pre-procedural and immediate post procedural care on the same day (23) hours or less) without hospitalization. Routine, non-routine, inpatient care with average length of stay (ALOS) of between one to three days will be performed. Inpatient services include, but are not limited to bed and board; medical, nursing, surgical, pharmacy and dietary services; all diagnostic and therapeutic services required by a veteran beneficiary when ordered by an attending physician with appropriate medical and clinical staff privileges; and medications while an inpatient, take-home medications, and supplies. Successful offerors shall be responsible for workers comp, malpractice insurance, income and social Security tax withholdings. Contract period is one year with two 12-month renewal options.
