Description

The Department of Health and Human Services, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT) Division of State and community Assistance (DSCA) plans to award a sole source simplified acquisition to Johnson Institute Foundation, Minneapolis, Minnesota. The proposed contractor is uniquely qualified and possesses historical information and concepts which are sensitive to the particular needs of people in recovery. The contractor shall provide support for recovery community consensus building by conducting a national meeting of recovery month participants associated with CSAT's Recovery Community Support Program (RCSP) and it's Opiod public education projection. The proposed contract action is for services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability statements responding to this requirement. No solicitation will be issued. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.proip
