Description

Modification to announcement published in Commerce Business Daily on 30 April 2001. Port Hueneme Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center (PHD NSWC) will be issuing a solicitation, N63394-01-R-1246 on or about 4 June 2001 for a Multi Functional A-76 Commercial Activity Study. This is a competitive, firm fixed price procurement, set aside for Small Businesses. The PHD NSWC requirement solicits the contractor to perform services to support the following functions: Administrative; Civilian Education and Training; Facilities; Financial; Procurement; Public Safety and Security; Supply; and Public Relations. A Secret level security clearance is required for some personnel in the Administrative and Public Safety and Security functions. The applicable North American Industry Classification System Code (NAISC) is 561110, the size standard if $5.0 Million. This is a study conducted under OMB Circular A-76, utilizing a formal source selection. The apparent successful offeror will compete against a Government "In House" bid. If contracted, the services will be for a base period of 12 months with two (2) 12-month option periods, a total of 3 years. There will be a 30 day transition period included in the 12-month base period. Paper copies of the solicitation will NOT be issued. The solcitation package will be posted and available on the PHD NSWC web site at: http://www.phdnswc.navy.mil/procurements, on or about the week of 4 June 2001. Contractors are cautioned to check the web site periodically for the solicitation and any amenments to the solicitation that may be posted. A solicitation mailing list will not be compiled, the solcitation and any amendments will NOT be mailed or provided in paper copy.
