Description

Construct a central vehicle wash facility with three fully enclosed cleaning bays, one double length cleaning bay to accommodate construction equipment and tactical refueling vehicles; one with oversized overhead doors to accommodate heavy tracked vehicle, all bays are provided with an access pit to allow under chassis and engine cleaning operations for SUSV's, High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicles (HMMWVs) and other air deployable vehicles. The double bays will be able to support Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles (FMTVs) and current inventory of tactical vehicles. Each bay will be equipped with a blower system for winter vehicle drying and under slab heating within the wash bay and entry apron to eliminate glacierization and the associated hazards. COMPETITION WILL BE LIMITED TO 8(a) FIRMS SERVICED BY THE SMALL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (SBA) ANCHORAGE, ALASKA DISTRICT OFFICE OR 8(a) FIRMS WITH BONAFIDE BRANCH OFFICES IN THE ALASKA DISTRICT AREA AND HAVE NAICS CODE 233310 IN THEIR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT PLAN. ALL OTHER FIRMS ARE DEEMED INELIGIBLE TO SUBMIT OFFERS. COMPETITION WILL NOT BE RESTRICTED BY STATE OF 8(a) PROGRAM PARTICIPATION.
