Description

NASA/ARC plans to issue a Request for Offers (RFO) to develop and provide complete equipment replacement drawings and estimates for the removing of the existing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) rooftop air handlers, duct, coils, piping, and the associated components and replacing with new, individual cooling and heating coils at each duct supply with new air handlers and associated piping components located on the roof and second floor areas of N204. The order of magnitude for the procurement is $100,000.00 and $250,000.00,and the effort shall be completed within 90 calendar days after notice to proceed. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1. The NAICS Code and small business size standard for this procurement are 23511 and 7.0M, respectively. The anticipated release date of the RFO is on or about May 25,2001 with an anticipated offer closing date of on or about June 25,2001. The firm date for receipt of bids or offers will be stated in the RFO. All QUALIFIED responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency. An ombudsman has been appointed -- See NASA Specific Note "B". The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will be in Microsoft Office 97 format and will reside on a World-Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
