- Description
- US ARMY CECOM Acquisition Center proposes to award a five year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type contract for the AN/USC-60A, Flyaway Tri-Band Satellite Terminals (FTSATs), associated spares and engineering, maintenance and logistics support. Delivery orders will be issued on a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) basis for the FTSATs and associated spares and on a Time and Materials basis for engineering, maintenance and logistics support. The Government currently does not possess the necessary technical drawings to enable competition at this time. This effort will be a sole source procurement to L-3 Communications (L-3), Satellite Networks, Hauppauge, New York. L-3 is the current producer of the FTSAT and is the only known source with a Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) or Non-developmental Item (NDI) that provides the required technical and operational capabilities. The U.S. CECOM Acquisition Center has established a World Wide Business Opportunity Page at http://abop.monmouth.army.m to provide electronic transmittal of Request for Proposals (RFBs), Invitation for Bid (IFBs), and Request for Quotes (RFQs) from Government to industry. All parties interested in doing business with CECOM are invited to access, operate, send and receive information from the CECOM/Acquisition Center World Wide Business Opportunities Page. Upon accessing the web page, click on CECOM Business Opportunities. Registration for used ID and password will only be necessary when you are considering the submission of proposals to the Business Opportunities Page. The solicitation will be uploaded to the internet site set forth above in or about 15 days. Bids shall be submitted in hard copy at the time and place specified in the solicitation. No bids shall be submitted to the Contracting Officer. See Note 22.*****
