Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Solicitation Number DABT31-01-T-0073 is issued as an(RFQ) for the supply and installation of (48) strands of single mode fiber optics installed in one specified area located on the installation. The Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-15. RFQ is small business set aside. SIC is 4899;size standard is $11 mil. Closing date is 22 May 2001, 12:00 p.m. CST. POC for additional information and detailed specification is Robert E. Description is as follows: 0001, Supply and install (48) strands of single mode fiber from Node-2 to several buildings located in a centralized area through existing inner duct and the manhole system.
