Description

Pre-Solicitation Notice Reference # FA4416-01-R0063 Description: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, transportation and other services necessary to perform Laundry/Dry Cleaning Service of government-owned linen for Andrews Air Force Base, MD. This acquisition will be accomplished in accordance with procedures in FAR Parts 12:3-Solicitation Provisions And Contract Clauses For The Acquisition of Commercial Items, FAR Part 13-Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR Part 37-Service Contracting. This acquisition is set aside 100% for small businesses; the applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 81232, size standard $5,000,000.00. The period of performance will be from the effective date of award to 30 Sep 02 with three one-year option periods. The Government reserves the unilateral right to exercise any option periods. Anticipated Solicitation date on or about 25 May 01. The solicitation, notices and any/all amendments will be posted and available for viewing on the Government Electronic Posting System (EPS) site at www.fedbizopps.gov. No paper copies will be issued. When the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review the aforementioned site regularly for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. All prospective offerors interested in submitting proposals must have a Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code and a current registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr2000.com. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract; it does not restrict the Government_s ultimate approach, nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation costs.
