Description

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is requesting quotations from vendors for Belts with Nylon webbing and Buckle, 1-3/4_ wide X 21 ft long. Straps must be equipped with a ratchet buckle with a seal eyelet affixed in such a manner that neither the seal nor the eyelet can be removed without showing evidence of tampering. The seal eyelet must also be affixed in such a manner as to prevent the buckle from being _un-ratcheted_ without breaking the seal. BEP Stock Number 2L001360. All responding vendors will be required to submit a material sample for BEP testing. Samples should be mailed to the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, Office of Procurement, Attention: Dan Walker, 14th and C. Streets S.W. Washington, D.C. 20228. Samples shall be received no later that 05/11/01. The simplified acquisition procedures set forth in FAR Parts 12 and 13 shall be used. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; therefore, a written request for quotation will not be issued. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is 05-01-29. The total quantity is 800 Each. Delivery shall be made within 30 days after receipt of purchase order. Delivery terms are F.O.B Destination to the BEP Loading Dock at _D_ Street, Between 13th and 14th Sts., S.W. Washington, D.C. The resulting purchase order shall be firm fixed price. The basis for award shall be price and quality of material sample. All interested small businesses are requested to submit a written quotation which will be considered by the agency. Quotations may be submitted on a SF 1449 or on company letterhead. Quotations shall include the RFQ number, the proposed unit price, the proposed extended price, any prompt payment discount terms, company name, point of contact, address, phone number, fax number, tax identification number, DUNS number, and size status (i.e., small business, disadvantaged business or woman owned business). If this item is available under GSA Schedule please provide the schedule number. Quotations are due 05/11/01 by 4:00 p.m..
