Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting market research for small or large business Nationwide Periodical/Subscription services. The Contractor shall be responsible for the placement of new and renewal subscriptions to single or multiple addresses for domestic and foreign serials and periodicals in electronic or paper format, and for related services to approximately 60, but possibly exceeding 200, VA Libraries. Subscriptions and services will be charged at publisher price plus VA service charge, and guarantee shall be made of delivery on each subscription. VA service charge will reflect contractor's fees, offsets, publisher, and/or vendor discounts, etc. Related services will include paying publishers and handling claims for non-receipt, cancellations, other service problems and providing scheduled and emergent reports on problems to individual VA facilities. Title listings provided by VA Libraries may vary with additions and deletions. The representative list of titles submitted reflects projected needs based on current usage. The Contractor must be able to fill the sample titles listed. The following information can be downloaded into a Word Document: The Statement of Work (SOW), Library Mailing List and Active Journal Title List. Identify if the business is Small or Large Business; Minority; Woman/women; Veteran; Service Disabled Veteran; Vietnam Veteran; Native American.
