Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service invites bids on Receiving Building Modifications at the Craig Brook National Fish Hatchery in East Orland, Maine. The work includes the following: 1) Construction of a building addition approximately 50 feet by 50 feet in area to the existing pre-engineered metal building; 2) Demolition within the interior of the existing building including partition walls and ceilings, platforms, concrete floor, heating system, process piping and drainage structures; 3) Creation of twelve isolated fish rearing areas within the building including partition walls, water supply piping, drainage, electrical, heating and other modifications; and 4) Wastewater treatment including solids removal utilizing microscreen filtration and ultra-violet disinfection in addition to process piping, electrical and instrumentation required. Construction is scheduled to begin early July, 2001. The bid package will be issued o/a May 25, 2001. This is an unrestricted procurement and is open to all business sizes.
