Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ intends to enter into negotiations on a sole source basis with Lockheed Martin Information Systems, Orlando, FL to procure Repair of Repairables (ROR) Support, Logistical Support, Technical Assistance/Support, Maintenance Support, Engineering Support, Training, Installation Support and Material Services for Government Reconfigurable Transportable Consolidated Automated Support System (RTCASS) variant of the Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS) under a Basic Ordering Agreement. These requirements will be procured by placing orders under a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA); therefore, this synopsis covers the BOA and all future orders. As the designer, developer, integrator and original equipment manufacturer of the RTCASS station and associated RTCASS support equipment, Lockheed Martin is the only known company that possesses the experience, knowledge, technical expertise, production tooling and facilities necessary to perform these requirements within the time-frames required. The Government does not own the specifications or drawings. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal, which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
