Description

Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Patuxent River, MD intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Sole Source contract to MD Helicopters, Inc. (MDHI), located in Mesa, AZ to provide sustaining engineering support for the fleet of TH-6B Helicopters located at the United States Naval Test Pilot School, Naval Air Station Patuxent River, MD. MDHI is the Original Equipment Manufacturer and is the only source possessing the technical capability, technical data, and requisite knowledge of the TH-6B Helicopter. MDHI is the only complete source of historical, developmental, design, manufacturing, modification, and test data for the aircraft. The Government has not acquired data nor will MDHI release proprietary technical data to develop a competitive procurement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals.
