DESC: In accordance with FAR 17.207(c)(3) the US Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District is Conducting a Market Survey to determine whether exercising three options under Contract DACW17-01-C-0005 is the most advantageous method of fulfilling the Government's need. Projected start date for dredging is 1 November 2001. Work entails the following: DESCRIPTION: Beach Renourishment, Hutchinson Island, Shore Protection Project, Martin County, Florida OPTION A-Mobilization and Demobilization, Beach Fill, (Est Qty) 100,000 cubic yards, Beach Tilling (Est Qty) 4.4 Acres, Construction/Vibration Controls and Monitoring, and Lighted Aids to Navigation. OPTION B-Mobilization and Demobilization, Dune Construction (Est Qty) 8,000 cubic yards, Construction/Vibration and Controls and Monitoring, and Lighted Aids to Navigation.
