Description

DESC: The Virginia Contracting Activity, on behalf of the Defense Intelligence Agency/ Missile and Space Intelligence Agency (DIA/MSIC), intends to procure a new Medium Haul Transport. The vehicle must contain or be equipped with the following: Diesel engine, 260 Hp, 700 FP of torque, 100 AMP alternator, Compression engine brake, 1000 watt block heater 110/120 volt, six speed standard shift, front axle 8000 lbs or greater, Hydraulic disc, anti-lock brakes, power assisted steering, rear axle capacity 19,000 lbs or greater, Synthetic lubricant, 18,000 lbs air ride or greater, two 75 gallon fuel tanks, tires 275/80R 22.5, wheels 22.5 x 8.25 polished, overhead console, heater and air conditioner, self-resetting circuit breakers, seats with lumbar support, arm rests, cloth, air mount cab, grab handles left and right side, air horn, tinted windows, 48" sleeper, gauges include- air restriction, volt meter, fuel, engine temp, oil pressure, and tachometer, AM/FM WB Citizens band Galaxy DX99V VHF 150-174 GE 100 Watt, intermittent wipers, cruise control, Body- 24' curtain sided, 24' sliding winch track Apitong floor, 6 each sliding winches w/ 4" x 30' straps, 2 each water tight steel storage boxes 48" x 18" x 24" mounted one curb side and one road side, placards 4 each (Explosive 1.1 -1.4) mounted on each side of body), paint- white with black chassis or similiar subdued color, warranty- 36 months unlimited mileage, delivery- FOB destination to MSIC, BLD 4545 Fowler Rd, Redstone Arsenal AL 35898, Delivery date shall be NLT 13 July 2001. No RFQs or RFPs shall be issued other than this notice.
