Description

The Naval Air Systems Command, Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, MD intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with DRS Technologies, Inc. 138 Bauer Drive, Oakland, NJ 07436 under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The Government intends to procure up to 10 ground interface units, 20 cockpit control units, 10 color video processors, 8 DC LTTC imagers, 42 AC LTTC imagers, and 20 high speed data interface cards. All items are components of the Airborne Separation Video System which is manufactured by DRS Technologies, Inc. The NAICS code is 335999. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, interested parties may submit a capability statement. All capability statements, received in response to this notice, will be considered by the Government for the purpose of determining whether to initiate a competitive procurement. The Government reserves the right to process the procurement sole source based on the responses received. See Note 22.
