- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division intends to place two classes of orders against a Basic Ordering Agreement to procure Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and Repair of Repairables (ROR) services and supplies. These services and supplies are for the AN/APM-446, AN/APG-65 and AN/USM-604 Test Program Sets and their ancillary support equipment. One class of orders shall be placed for the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, and the second class of orders shall be placed on behalf of the Naval Aviation Depot, Cherry Point, North Carolina. The Naval Air Warfare Aircraft Division Lakehurst intends to negotiate with Systems and Electronics Inc. (SEI), St. Louis, MO 63121-1126. Under the Authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, this firm is considered the only designer, developer and sole manufacture of the AN/APM-446, AN/APG-65 and AN/USM-604 Test Program Sets. SEI is the only known firm possessing the knowledge, experience and technical expertise necessary to fulfill the Navy's requirements. The proposed Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) for these services and supplies shall be for a period NTE three (3) years. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to the proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within thirty days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
