Description

The VA Medical Center (VAMC), Minneapolis, Minnesota, has a requirement for consignment of Intraocular Lenses (IOLs) in the Surgical Ophthalmology Department. Lenses must be available in a multiple of sizes. The VAMC Minneapolis anticipates entering into multiple award consignment agreement(s) with the contractor(s) providing the best overall value to the Government. The VAMC Minneapolis will award firm fixed price contract(s). Contracts will be awarded for one year with four options to renew for total contract period not to exceed five years. Evaluations may be conducted to determine that products offered will meet the Government's requirements. Evaluation factors of technical capability of the items offered and past performance history (including case reports) will be considered along with price to determine "best value" to the Government. Evaluation may be made with or without discussions with the offeror(s).
