- Description
- This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice. The contractor shall finish all plant, labor, materials, and equipment necessary to fabricate, deliver, and install as required the interior and exterior wayfinding and interpretive signage at the U.S. Botanic Garden Conservatory. Interpretive panels portions of the work will be bidded for both laminate and porcelain fabrication as alternates. The work includes fabrication of custom-designed aluminum frames and fabrication of a wide variety of sign panel materials and sizes, digital scanning, 4-color graphic, typography, and display cases for artifacts. Finishes incude paint, custom chemical verdigris patina, porcelain, and lamination. A bid for similiar additional work to be fabricated at a later time is required as an option. A contract will be awared using sealled bidding procedures. The solicitation will be issued on or about June 8, 2001. This solicitation is issued on an "unrestricted basis" inviting full and open copetition. Requests for the solicitation package should be addressed to the contact point identified above.
